Alassio certainly is not only about sun and beach. With it´s unique climate Alassio is the ideal place for out door activity ALL YEAR AROUND. Golf (Garlenda 5 km, 18 holes course), tennis, bicycling, mountain biking, trekking, climbing, horseback riding, paragliding (see Alassio's pictures from paragliders) , diving, waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing …it´s all here! Just a few kilometres away you find Toirano with over 200 walls for free climbing. The forest walks are accompanied by pine trees, olive groves and of course the original Mediterranean flora. We will be happy to help you with special requests like personalized sports diet, storage of sports equipment and more.

Ligurian nature is really something extra. From the sea to the mountains, from green to blue to pink… the national parks are waiting to be discovered.

Excursions

In just a short distance you´ll find some of the most beautiful small villages of Italy. Genova, culture capital of Europe year 2004, offers among many things the astonishing Aquarium (l´Acquario), a series of famous museums and splendid architecture. Close to Alassio you can do whale watching and visit the world famous caves of Toirano. The aqua park “le Caravelle” guarantees a full day of fun for the whole family.

Alassio offers a world-class nightlife, elegant and alive with famous nightclubs and bars like Le Vele, Alporto, La Suerte, La Capannina. Alassio hosts cultural and musical events and festivals all year around. In the small surrounding villages “Sagras” are held, local food and wine festivals.
For our gambling guest we highly recommend Casinò San Remo and Casinò Monte Carlo.
