Alassio, renowned for its charm and for being called the “city of lovers“, is preparing to host an extraordinary event that will take the city back to the Middle Ages: “Adelasia, the legend“.

Piazza Partigiani will be the heart of the event, home to the “Corte” of Adelasia, a place where the games between the villages will take place, which will be interspersed with medieval shows including the final show, and the departure and arrival of the Historical Procession. Borgo Coscia (Piazza San Francesco) will be home to the armigers.

Borgo Barusso (Piazza Airaldi Durante) will be home to the ancient medieval games, the gardens adjacent to Piazza della Liberà will be home to the food stands with the De.Co. specialties of the Municipality of Alassio and the Falconieri. The itinerant artistic groups and the Historical Procession will converge in all the stations, alternating.

Saturday 7 June

5:00 pm – Medieval Procession Borgo Coscia
Departure from the Palazzo Comunale Gardens, arrival in Piazza San Francesco and return to Piazza Partigiani

5:15 pm – Palla Imperiale Qualifications
Piazza Partigiani

9:00 pm – Medieval Procession Borgo Barusso
Departure from the Palazzo Comunale Gardens, arrival in Piazza Airaldi Durante and return to Piazza Partigiani

10:30 pm “Panem et Circenses”
Final show with the Giullari del Carretto” in Piazza Partigiani

Sunday 8 June

10:30 am – Palla Imperiale Finals

11:00 am – Medieval Procession Borgo Coscia
Departure from the Palazzo Comunale Gardens, arrival in Piazza San Francesco and return to Piazza Partigiani

3:30 pm – Medieval Procession Borgo Barusso
Departure from the Town Hall Gardens. Arrival at Piazza Airaldi Durante and return to Piazza Partigiani

5:30 p.m. – “Panem et Circenses”
Closing show with the “Giullari del Carretto”.
